DebtMelt is operated by Frequency AI Ltd, trading as Cashew Crate. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data you enter

Debt names, balances, interest rates, and payment amounts you enter into DebtMelt are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device. We have no access to it and cannot recover it if you clear your browser data.

Account data

If you create a Cashew Crate account for Pro features, we store your email address and subscription status. This is managed by our authentication service and payment processor (Polar).

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) with Consent Mode v2. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept cookies via the consent banner. Without consent, GA operates in cookieless mode with limited data. We use analytics to understand which features people use and to fix issues.

Advertising

Free users may see ads served by Google AdSense. Ad cookies are only set after consent. Pro users and Crate Pass holders see no ads.

Cookies

We use a consent cookie (cashewcrate-cookie-consent) to remember your cookie preference across Cashew Crate apps. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you accept.

Third parties

Our third-party services: Google Analytics (analytics), Google AdSense (advertising), Polar (payments), and Cloudflare (hosting). Each has its own privacy policy.

Your rights
